Software for salons, for the call that rings mid-color

When every chair is full, the phone rings anyway, and nobody is going to put down a foil to answer it. Halo picks up in your salon's name, answers the questions you get every day, and offers times that are actually open in your calendar.

The problem

The phone rings when your hands are full

In a busy salon, the person who could answer the phone is always halfway through someone's hair. Calls ring out or go to voicemail, and a new client who wanted Saturday books the salon that answered.

The same few questions take up the calls that do get answered: what time are you open, how much is a cut, do you have anything today, can I move my appointment.

Where it costs you

The moments that lose the work

The call during a service. Stopping mid-color or mid-cut to answer is not an option, and an unanswered call from a new client rarely calls twice.
“Do you have anything today?” A same-day opening from a cancellation is empty chair time unless someone fills it fast.
The price question. Most salons price some services from a starting price. Saying it the same way every time, without overpromising on long or corrective work, matters.
Rebooking. Clients who leave without the next appointment booked drift. A reminder or a waitlist keeps the book full.

The booking question

Where your book lives

If you book in Google, Outlook or Apple calendar, Halo books directly. If your book lives in salon software, Halo takes the request and sends it to you, and we say so plainly up front.

Cost and limits

What it costs. Halo is $245 a month with unlimited minutes, plus $499 once to build. A website is $2,500 once, then $75 a month. Tools start at $50 a month plus $150 to $250 to set up. Everything is month to month, with no contract. Full detail on the pricing page.

Questions people ask

Can it book appointments?

Yes, directly into Google, Outlook or Apple calendar, only into times that are genuinely free. If your bookings live in salon software, it takes the request and sends it to you to confirm.

Will it quote a color correction?

No. It states only the prices you approve, usually starting prices, and books a consultation for anything that needs one.

Can it tell clients which stylist is free?

That depends on how your stylists' calendars are kept, so it is a setup question for the first call. Halo only ever offers times that are genuinely free.

Does it say it is an AI?

Yes. It says it is an automated assistant. It does not pretend to be your front desk.

What about no-shows?

A website booking can take a deposit if you want one. Halo can state your cancellation policy word for word.
