Job board for flooring installers
Every job from measure to done: measured, material ordered, delivered, acclimating, install booked. Jobs that are stuck get flagged before they cost you an install day.
The install day is booked. The flooring is not ready.
A flooring job passes through a lot of hands before anyone kneels down: the measure, the order, the supplier, the delivery, the acclimation, the install. Each step has a date, and each date belongs to someone different.
The job that goes wrong is usually the one nobody was watching: material ordered with no delivery date from the supplier, a delivery that was due Tuesday and never got marked, or an install booked before the boards have sat in the house long enough.
How it works, step by step
Six columns, measure to done
Measured, material ordered, delivered, acclimating, install booked, done. Each card shows the customer, the room, the square footage, the material and its next date.
Fill in the dates
Open a job to add the expected delivery, the delivered date and the install date, then move it to the next stage.
Three checks
Material ordered with no delivery date, a delivery date that passed without the job being marked delivered, and an install booked before acclimation ends.
A wait time per product
Each material carries its own acclimation time, so the board can tell when an install is booked too early. The demo uses sample times; a real setup uses the times from the manufacturers you install.
Click through it yourself
The demo runs a made-up company, Cedar Plank Flooring. Open a flagged job, fill in the missing date and watch the flag clear, or move a job across the board from measured to done.
Sample data. Every name, job and number in the demo is made up. Nothing is saved and nothing is sent.

Questions people ask
Where do the acclimation times come from?
The demo uses sample times. A real setup uses the acclimation times from the installation instructions of the products you install, and you can change them.
What counts as stuck?
Three things: material ordered with no delivery date from the supplier, a delivery date that passed without the job being marked delivered, and an install booked before the material has finished acclimating.
Does it replace my scheduling software?
No. It sits alongside what you use now. We look at what that is on the first call and decide where the dates should come from.
Can installers see it on a phone?
Yes. On a phone the board scrolls sideways to show every stage.
Is this a finished product?
It is a working demo with sample data. A real setup is built around your company: your name, your wording and your jobs. It is scoped and priced before we start.
